As of October 14 of this year, if you are still using Windows 10 – you either switch to Windows 11 now and become Microsoft’s bitch, or switch to a Mac or Linux! Either way, that Windows 10 computer is now a sitting duck and you’re about to get ass-raped like all of the Windows XP users did back in 2014. Hackers sat on known zero-day exploits for XP and started taking advantage of them when its updates ended. Windows 10 users, now it’s your turn to shine!
If you buy a Windows 11 PC today, you don’t even own the computer, you’re just paying for a rental from Microsoft. You can’t log into it unless you have a Microsoft account. You’re forced to live with Copilot taking pictures of your screen all the time and monitoring everything you do with the computer so they know what ads to target you with. Every photo and file that you save to the computer, also ends up on Microsoft’s cloud servers for their AI to evaluate!
Microsoft wastes so much processing power on spying on you that Windows isn’t even a plausible option for serious music and video production anymore. Every digital audio workstation (DAW) application for Windows suffers serious audio dropouts, pops, clicks, etc under Windows 11. Video editing is just as bad, it has the same audio problems plus the added feature of video staggering and tearing. But, hey, you still got Solitaire and the Calculator!
In the retail world of computers, a Mac is most definitely your best option now. Yes, Apple spies on you too, but they are nowhere near the level of intrusive as Microsoft. They aren’t capturing your screen every few seconds and sending it to an AI data center to decide what ads to assault you with next. If gaming is your thing, I’m sorry, I honestly couldn’t give two shits about video games, go buy a gaming console – Twitch Booouuueeeyyy!
Microsoft has always had this strange pattern of hitting a home run and striking out in alternating versions of Windows. For example: 3.11, 98, XP, 7, 10 were home runs. Whereas: 95, ME, Vista, 8, 11 were total fuck-ups. I honestly don’t think that Windows 12 could undo this AI and spyware driven clusterfuck that they’ve created in Windows 11. This all appears to be the end of the line for Microsoft, I don’t see how they could possibly reverse course and save face now.
On the bright side, Linux is free and will install on your Windows 10 sitting duck, the computer will actually run better as well! But, I’m not here to convince and convert anybody, I honestly don’t give a shit what people choose to do. All I have time for these days are my own projects, I don’t have time for other peoples’ computer rescue jobs. YouTube is your friend, go watch some videos and figure out what you want to do. Shit or get off the pot because your time’s up!
