As with a previous rant about people thinking that AI will suddenly make them more talented than they actually are, there’s also an epidemic of people who think they’re going to get bloody rich recycling the same old shit that thousands of other people are posting online. The most original thing that they ever post is a complaint about how the algorithm sucks and is somehow screwing them because their 100 redundant lame ass posts today have little or no views.
I subscribe to 100 YouTube channels and follow 100 people on X, but your endless retarded posts or uploads should take precedence over everybody else’s content? “I’m being shadow banned” – No, the algorithm just has a good sense of balance, or maybe it just has a good spam/junk detector. Let’s say that you have a box of marbles and it’s already completely full. What happens if you try pouring more marbles into the box? Think about it, take all the time you need.
I laugh at these people crying online about their content creator aspirations going to shit and blaming the platform itself for their failure. They convince themselves that their content is so spectacular that they really need to enable the paid subscription feature, then blame the platform because they only made $100 last month. If you’ve managed to rack up 100K followers and you only earned a measly $100 with the paid subscription feature enabled, then your content quality simply sucks donkey balls!
As with the lamers who take credit for things that AI made for them and then bitch because they make less than the part-time teenage burger jockey next door. Content creator wanna-bees have deluded themselves into believing that they can become an online celebrity in a pool that’s already over-saturated. Sorry, knocking off a cheap copy of everybody else’s work isn’t a marketable skill. You need to actually deliver something original that a million other people aren’t already doing and over-doing!
How did Decoy amass a following of over a million subscribers in just a couple years? How did Conservative Vibes go from 55K to 600K subscribers in a little over a year? How did Miera K amass 275K subscribers in 15 months since April/2025? If you believe that you’re ever going to be able to dump your 9-to-5 job and replace that income with online content, then you damn well better have an original product that people are actually interested in paying money for.
I don’t have the creative instinct for it or the desire to become dependent upon a big-tech platform to sustain myself, especially after seeing so many creators get the rug jerked out from under their feet with no explanation. If somebody else wants to and they have what it takes to be successful, then my hat is off to them. But if you really think that you are going to do it by being a cheap copy of every other cheap copy, then I’m going to laugh my ass off at you!
